Freshman: Ryan competed as one of three divers at the BIG EAST Championships. Ryan finished one spot shy of making the consolation finals in the 3-meter competition with a score of 219.90. He bounced back on 1-meter, by finishing fifteenth with a score of 226.65. In dual meet action, Ryan finished third on 1-meter and fifth on 3-meter against Cincinnati. He also competed against UK where he posted scores of 215.32 (1-meter) and 206.86 (3-meter). Prep: Diver Matt Ryan joins the Cards from Castle High School in Newburgh, Ind. A high school All-American and member of the Indiana Dive Club, Ryan was the 2010 Southern Indiana Conference champion on the 1-meter springboard. He also made semi-state his first three years.
