11/15/2012 Swimming and Diving Set to Compete at Purdue InvitationalHuge, three-day event will bring stiff competition for the Cardinals Prep: Ruben comes to the Cardinals from Valencia, Venezuela where he swam for Colegio de Abogados for Coach Fernando Parada. He attended Patria Soberaila High School. He competed at the Junior South American Championship as well as the Junior Central American Championships and was a member of the Junior Venezuelan National team. He also attended swim camps at Davie Nadadores in Florida. Personal: Son of Ruben and Marianela Izarra. Born August 3, 1993. |
