As a junior, Angie was a member of the record-setting 200-free relay, the 400-medley relay, and the 400-free relay teams. She set the school record in the 200-fly. Among her meets with multiple wins in 2003-04 are: Evansville, Saint Louis, Eastern Illinois, Virginia Tech, Butler and Boston College. As a sophomore, she swept all of her events versus Eastern Illinois and finished in the top three in 200-fly against Ohio State and West Virginia. At C-USA Championships, Angie had a strong showing placing fifth in the 100-fly and eighth in the 200-fly. She was also a member of the school record-breaking 400-free relay team. The team chose Angie to lead them as co-captain for 2003-04. As a freshman, she was one of U of L's top point producers. Angie had an impressive C-USA meet where she finished fourth in the 400 medley relay, placed fifth in the 200-free, 200-fly and the 200-medley relay. She selected U of L after swimming for Lassiter High School where she lettered four years. She won the Lassiter Character Award and was named in Who's Who in Sports for 2000 and 2001.
