Freshman: Josh started off his first year with the Cardinals as an All-AAC selection when he finished first in the 200-butterfly with a time of 1:45.29 at the AAC Championships. He also added runner up finishes in the 200-IM and the 100-butterfly at the Championships. Against Tennessee, Quallen took first place in the 100 fly with 49.23 and the 200 fly with a time of 1:48.94
Prep: Josh Quallen joins the Cardinals from Wilmington, Ohio where he attended Wilmington High School. Quallen is an Ohio State High School Record Holder in the 100- butterfly and 100- backstroke, a four- time state champion, and was awarded swimmer of the meet in 2013. While swimming for the Dayton Raiders Swim Team, Quallen was an Olympic Trial Qualifier and a Junior National finalist in several events.
