In all, Louisville won gold in five events - 100 butterfly, 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke, 200 breaststroke, and 400 medley relay - and finished with 16 medals, the second most of any team.

Freshman: Aaron placed in the top three of both backstroke events, coming in as the runner up in the 200-backstroke and placing third in the 100-backstroke. He was named to the All-American Conference team for his achievements and competed at the NCAA Championships in the 200-backstroke with a 41st overall finish. Aaron's time of 1:42.21 places him 26th overall in that event, with the top time being 1:38.89.
Prep: Aaron Greene is from Fort Worth, Texas where he swam for North Texas Nadadores and Timber Creek High School. Greene is a three- time National Junior Team Member, a two- time Junior National champion in the 200-meter backstroke, and an Olympic Trial qualifier in the 100- and 200-meter backstroke. In Greene's senior year at Timber Creek High School he was crowned Texas 5A state champion in the 100-backstroke and runner-up in the 100-butterfly. Greene is an incoming Brown Fellow, and graduated top ten in his high school class.
