18 Athletes Named to CSCAA Scholar All-America List

Eighteen University of Louisville athletes from the swimming and diving team were named to the College Swimming Coaches of America Association's 2012 Individual Scholar All America list.

The Scholar All American award is presented to college and university swimmers and divers, who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher, for the semester or cumulative average, and have qualified for their respective national championship. The award is presented in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships (Winter/Spring).

Cardinals Alex Burtch, Aileen Cole, Fanny Lilliestrom and Riley Martin were named to this list.

The Honorable Mention Scholar All American award is presented to college and university swimmers and divers, who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, for the semester or cumulative average, and have achieved a "B" time standard, but have not qualified to compete in their respective national championship. The award is presented in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships (Winter/Spring).

Cardinals Grite Apanaviciute, Dani Barbiea, Addison Bray, Abigail Chin, Emily Conway, Kenneth Crapse, Stephanie Juncker, Lindsey LaPorte, Victoria Mitchell, Nikolas Sachs, Jackie Sherrard, Emily Stalmack, Lindsey Stephens and Raine Thompson were named to this list.
