Assistant Director of Academic Services

Rachel Overton is in her fourth year at the University of Louisville and first as an Assistant Director for Academic Services. She is responsible for overseeing academic support for men's and women's track and field and rowing. She also serves as the advisor to the Louisville chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, the student-athlete honor society.

In 2013, Rachel participated in the N4A Professional Development Institute - Learning Specialist Track. Rachel is also a Mentor for the N4A Mentor/Mentee program.

Her time with the Athletic Department has included being a Graduate Assistant with Academic Services, providing academic support for the men's and women's track and field, women's basketball and football programs. In the past, he has served as an academic counselor for football.

A native of Newbury Park California, Rachel was a four-year letter winner on the women's field hockey team at Louisville. Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration and Master of Education in College Student Personnel from Louisville.
