Miguel Negron enters his second year working with the Olga S. Peers Academic Center staff. Currently, he is a graduate assistant providing academic assistance to the football team. Prior to this year he worked primarily with students in the sports of rowing, baseball, and soccer. Miguel graduated from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Management. While at Goucher, Miguel was a 3 year starter on the men's basketball team. He was named team captain for the 2008-2009 season. After graduating in May 2009, Miguel worked for Aerotek Staffing as a recruiter and coached varisty basketball at The John Carroll School in Bel Air, Maryland. Miguel is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Sport Administration at the University of Louisville. He is from Baltimore, MD and has a sister, Monica Negron, who is currently a member of the Louisville women's lacrosse team. |
