Lauren works as a Graduate Assistant in Academic Services for Athletics. She assists in the academic support of women's basketball, swimming & diving, track & field, and women's tennis. Lauren also assists with the Cardinal Degree Completion program. Prior to her graduate assistantship at the University of Louisville, Lauren served as an intern in the Jacksonville State University Compliance Office in the spring of 2012. In June 2012, she was selected to attend the NCAA Career in Sports Forum. A native of Louisville and graduate of Assumption High School, Lauren was a four-year letterwinner on the women's volleyball team at Jacksonville State University where she served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. In 2012, she was awarded Ohio Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete and Jacksonville State's Female Athlete of the Year. Lauren was also Jacksonville State's school nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award. Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2012 and is working on her Master of Public Administration at the University of Louisville. |
