Post-Match Autographs

Following each game, student-athletes will be available for autographs. Each person will be allowed two items signed and a photograph. The sessions will last for ten minutes with a handful of select games where autographs will be available for fifteen minutes. A signable team poster will be available, while supplies last, as the student-athletes in each of their respective sections greet you. Below are the sections where you will be able to find the student athletes:

  • Section 115: Shoni Schimmel, Asia Taylor, Starr Breedlove, and Cortnee Walton
  • Section 111: Jude Schimmel, Antonita Slaughter, and Megan Deines
  • Section 105: Sara Hammond, Bria Smith, and Shawnta’ Dyer
  • Section 101: Tia Gibbs, Emmonnie Henderson, Monny Niamke, and Sherrone Vails

Player Flip Cards
At the entrance of the KFC Yum! Center for each women’s basketball game, there will be different student-athletes featured on the front of the flip card and the opponents’ roster on the backside.


$2 Beer/Soda/Dogs

Come thirsty and leave happy on $2 beverage nights. For both of the double headers as well as any conference weeknight games (listed below) fans can purchase Bud Light or Budweiser draft beer or small Pepsi for just $2 throughout the arena.

Looking for low-cost entertainment for your family? The KFC Yum! Center and the women’s basketball team have put together a package for you. Purchase 4 tickets and 4 meal vouchers (16 oz drink, junior hot dog, and one of the following: small popcorn, pretzel, or a bag of Lays) for only $36. This combo will be available for the following weekend day games:

  • December 21st (1:00 PM) - Colorado
  • December 29th (3:00 PM) - SMU
  • January 4th (2:00 PM) - Cincinnati
  • January 26th (1:00 PM) - Memphis

Louie’s Birthday: December 21 vs. Colorado, 1:00 PM

Louie (the Cardinal bird) is inviting all of his friends to join him for his birthday party in the Spirit Room of the KFC Yum! Center. Pizza and cupcakes will be available to all those who register. Don’t miss out in celebrating with the best mascot in college athletics.

NGWSD (National Girls and Women in Sport Day): January 26 vs. Memphis, 1:00 PM

Louisville Athletics is celebrating NGWSD early this year. Each year the department honors an individual whose actions have helped young women prosper through sport. Before the game, a clinic will be hosted in the Spirit Room at the KFC Yum! Center with student-athletes from various women’s teams.

Girls will participate in various stations led by the student-athletes including fundamental skills in various sports and other fun activities prior to the game.

Spirit Day (Pink Game) February 23 vs. Rutgers, 3:00 PM

Bring your team, family, or friends to the game and receive a special ticket price of $2 for a group of 10 or more for any home match at the KFC Yum! Center. In order to qualify for the group ticket price, groups must be arranged with the ticket office at least 24-hours prior to the match. Louisville Athletics is committed to providing the best fans with the best college baseball experience. With unprecedented access to the nationally ranked Cardinals, the University of Louisville will once again offer free admission to 34 of the 36 home games this season! Come thirsty and leave happy on Budweiser Buck Nights! Every Friday, fans can purchase draft beer and small Pepsi products for just $1 each throughout the ballpark courtesy of Budweiser. Get the weekend series started off right with this fan-favorite dollar deal! EVERY FRIDAY!
SATURDAY: BBQ on the Berm
With perfect views of the action and close access to the Sun Tan City Patio and playground, who would ever leave the outfield berm? Now you can enjoy $3.00 hamburgers and $2.00 beer specials every Saturday afternoon with BBQ on the Berm. EVERY SATURDAY!
SUNDAY: Visionworks Family Fun Day
Join in on all of the fun every Sunday this season! All eight Sunday home games will feature special family entertainment and activities presented by Visionworks including inflatable games. Also, kids can run the bases after the game and select players will sign autographs on the field. Plus dollar hot dogs will be available at the concessions. EVERY SUNDAY!
Cardinals Cap Day
Wear your Cardinals hat to the ballpark and get rewarded! On select Saturdays this season, fans who enter the stadium wearing any Louisville ball cap will receive a voucher for free 32oz. tub of popcorn. This promotion is scheduled for February 22, March 1, March 8, and March 15.
T-Shirt Tuesdays
Cardinals fans should look like Cardinals fans. So, Louisville Baseball is making sure you are decked out in the latest gear with T-Shirt Tuesdays courtesy of adidas, Visionworks, Class Act Federal Credit Union, and John Kenyon. On select Tuesday nights, the first fans through the gates will receive a specially designed Louisville Baseball t-shirt. Don’t’ miss this exciting giveaway on March 11, April 15, April 22, and May 13.
Baseball Trading Cards Giveaway
Looking to get your hands on the limited edition 2014 Louisville Baseball trading cards? Well here is your chance! The trading cards feature student-athletes and coaches from the 2014 team and a specially-released Louisville Legends card with famous Cardinals alumni. The trading cards are printed courtesy of Family Allergy & Asthma. Collect all five packs throughout the season! Ten cards will be given out each day on March 1, March 23, April 5, April 30, and May 15.


Elementary School Day: March 12 vs. Western Illinois, Noon
Hosting its fifth annual event, Louisville Baseball is excited to welcome more than 30 area schools for Elementary School Day. Combining the best of baseball and education, the day will highlight the importance of healthy eating habits and physical fitness while teaching good sportsmanship behavior. Patriotic Game presented by KY National Guard: April 4 vs. Memphis, 6:00 p.m.
To honor those who serve and have served our country, Louisville Baseball will salute the men and women of the Armed Forces and Louisville-area First Responders during the annual Patriotic Game presented by Kentucky National Guard. The Cardinals will wear commemorative jerseys and hats with a unique patriotic Cardinals logo during the game and fans are encouraged to wear their Red, White, and Blue in support of the event.
Cancer Awareness Night: April 22 vs. Western Kentucky, 6:00 p.m.
Join Louisville Baseball for their annual Cancer Awareness Night as the Cardinals continue their commitment to generating awareness for cancer research programs. Louisville will wear special black jerseys and hats featuring pink lettering during the game and fans are encouraged to visit the information fair and booths prior to the game. Pink lemonade will be sold with $1 from every sale going to support Home Runs for Hope, a fundraiser with all of the proceeds benefiting Gilda's Club of Louisville.
Louisville Legends Weekend: April 25 vs. Connecticut, 6:00 p.m.
During this special event, Cardinals baseball will turn back the clock to celebrate its more than 100 years of baseball history by honoring great teams and alumni, our “Louisville Legends”. Pregame festivities and special offerings will be included.
MLB's Pitch, Hit, & Run: April 27 vs. Connecticut, 1:00 p.m.
Join in Major League Baseball’s Pitch, Hit & Run competition and have a chance to reach the national finals at the MLB All-Star Game! PHR is a FREE, exciting skills event for boys and girls where participants have the opportunity to compete in four levels of competition. Louisville will host a local competition for boys ages 7 to 12. The event requires pre-registration (beginning in early March) and will be conducted on the field following the UofL-UConn contest.

  • Sun Tan City Patio. You are invited to enjoy a day out at the ballpark! Here is your chance to have a group outing for your organization or team at Jim Patterson Stadium. The Sun Tan City Patio is a free, covered patio area located on the top level of a three-tiered turf berm in left field. Annually, this hot spot attracts groups of 30 to 100.   • Anthem Buddies. Calling all area youth Little League teams, 6th grade and younger, to join the Cardinals on the field! Anthem Buddies join the Cardinals on the field during pre-game festivities prior to standing next to the Cardinals for the national anthem. Admission to baseball games is FREE.   • Home Runs for Hope Program. "Home Runs for Hope" is a fundraiser with all of the proceeds benefiting Gilda's Club of Louisville. Partners with "Home Run for Home" make a financial pledge for every home run hit by the University of Louisville baseball team and all of the proceeds go to Gilda's Club, which is a network of affiliate clubhouses where men, women and children living with cancer, as well as their friends and families, meet to learn how to live with cancer, whatever the outcome.
