Cody Zimmerman is a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Louisville. Zimmerman comes to Louisville after working a year-long internship with National Football League's St. Louis Rams from May 2010-Feb. 2011. Prior to St. Louis, Zimmerman worked as a student athletic trainer with Lindenwood in St. Charles, Mo. At Lindenwood, Zimmerman spent a season as a senior athletic training student for wrestling, a season as a student athletic trainer with baseball, softball, football and wrestling. During his time at Lindenwood, Zimmerman also worked a summer internship with the Rams from July-Sept. 2009, and a student internship from Oct. 2008-Jan. 2009. A native of Holton, Kan., Zimmerman earned his Bachelor of Arts in Science, majoring in Athletic Training at Lindenwood in December of 2009, where he graduated cum laude. Zimmerman is a NATA certified athletic trainer. |
