LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The "Five for Five" Run/Walk, a 5K race to benefit the Marques Maybin Medical Fund, will be staged on Saturday, Nov. 8, with a 9 a.m. start from the parking lot of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

The event will aid the fund for Marques Maybin, who wore number five as the University of Louisville's No. 12 all-time scorer. He was paralyzed from the waist down in a motorcycle accident on Aug. 5 and did not have medical insurance.

Awards will be presented to the top three runners overall and by age groups, and there will be a drawing for prizes after the race. To enter the first leg of the 2003-04 Winter Series, register online at www.derbycityac.com or call (502) 664-7427.
