Sept. 1, 2011
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -
Sometimes holidays can be a bit complex to celebrate. There might be travel involved, gifts to purchase, and tough decisions to make on which outfit to wear. For those looking for an alternative to the more challenging holidays, look no further than College Colors Day. This holiday is so easy to participate in that we have broken it down into one easy step.
Are you ready? Here it is.
Step 1: Wear red and black on Friday Sept. 2, 2011
It's that easy! Reach into your closet, throw on your Louisville gear, and head to campus or work. Show your school spirit by wearing your Cardinal hats, earrings, T-shirts, ties, watches - anything red and black - on Sept. 2, and you'll be part of one of the most easiest, yet spirited, holidays in America.
Don't have anything to wear? Make a quick stop by the Cardinal Authentic Store located at Papa John's Stadium and the KFC Yum! Center for all your College Colors Day needs. The store at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium is open Monday-Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and at the KFC Yum! Center from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
