Louisville, KY - The University of Louisville today announced they have added a free downloadable desktop alert application, The B-Line, to their official athletic web site (www.uoflsports.com), providing fans and alumni of the Cardinals instant access to information related to The University of Louisville.
The B-Line gives fans a full view of The University of Louisville, alerting them to the latest breaking news, stories, as well as highlights, all while allowing one-click access to uoflsports.com. Free software for the B-Line is available for both PCs and Macs and can be downloaded through the official site, www.uoflsports.com here.
Uoflsports.com is produced and hosted by CBS College Sports Network, a leader in the official collegiate athletic website business with over 200 colleges and universities currently under contract. The B-Line was provided to The University of Louisville and uoflsports.com through a partnership agreement between CBS College Sports Network and New Tier, Inc, a pioneer and industry leader in digital marketing solutions. CBS College Sports Network and New Tier are facilitating the launch of similar versions of the B-Line at 75 colleges and universities by the fall of 2009.
"CBS College Sports Network is thrilled to bring the B-Line to the users of uoflsports.com and to fans and alumni of The University of Louisville around the world," said Robert Schupler, Senior Vice President, University Sales & Marketing for CBS College Sports Network. "The B-Line is a lot like having your own personal sporting news ticker docked at the bottom of your screen, providing the latest news, scores and information directly to the desktop."
