Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville had 14 student-athletes earn the Comissioner's Academic Medal during the 2000-01 academic year. The medals are awarded to Conference USA student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or above during the academic year.

Women's cross country had four athletes earning medals. Women's golf and women's soccer each had two athletes and baseball, men's basketball, football, women's tennis, men's and women's track and field each had one.
