LOUISVILLE, Ky. - A unique, custom "Cardinal Chopper" will be awarded to a lucky University of Louisville fan after a nine-month promotion through the Cardinal Athletic Fund.

The custom "Cardinal Chopper" that will be awarded to a lucky U of L fan.

The custom-built chopper -- which would retail for more than $75,000 -- features chrome from end to end, a unique U of L paint job, a 46 inch rake and LED cardinal red lights. It has a custom-built Rev-Tech engine with an oversized 250 rear tire and custom-made drag pipes.

Interested parties may purchase a chance to win the Cardinal Chopper through one of a limited number of $25 donations to the Cardinal Athletic Fund. With the chopper donated, all proceeds will benefit U of L student-athletes. Fans may make donations at the display site or by contacting the Cardinal Athletic Fund at (502) 852-5735.

The contest will run until Feb. 15, 2007, with the winner to be announced at a home men's basketball game in Freedom Hall in February. The chopper will be on display at several U of L sponsored events, including the Cardinal Caravan and U of L football and men's basketball games, and at other sites within the Louisville area over the next nine months. In addition to the Grand Prize of the chopper, ten additional prizes will be awarded.
