The University of Louisville Athletic Department hosted its All-Sport Banquet Monday evening at the South Wing of the Kentucky Exposition Center .The Cardinals celebrated their own, handing out the top awards the department bestows. Senior athletes Chris Cates of baseball, and Catherine Bishop of softball delivered the keynote addresses.

Among the honors awarded:

Freshman Athlete of the Year: Men's: Edgar Sosa, basketball; Women's: Anna Dishuck, swimming

Sophomore Athlete of the Year: Men's: Vali Preda, swimming; Women's: Kristi Cunningham, softball

L-Club Junior Athlete of the Year: Men's Brian Brohm, football; Joanna Haig, soccer

Ed Kallay Senior of the Year: Men's: Arthur Turland, track; Amy Seng, soccer

Women4Women/Anthem Leadership Award: Adrienne White, golf

Cunningham Family Leadership Award: Chris Cates, baseball

Adidas Athletes of the Year: Co-Men's: Tone Belt, track; Amobi Okoye, football; Women's: Angel McCoughtry, basketball

Big East Aeropostale Female Scholar-Athlete of the year: Jessica Javelet, field hockey
