LOUISVILLE, Ky. -
Eric Hammer, Assistant Director of Olympic Sports Performance at the University of Louisville since August 2005, has been promoted to Associate Director. Hammer, who currently works with baseball, track and volleyball, came to Louisville from the University of Nebraska-Omaha where he completed his Master's degree in Exercise Science. At UNO he was a graduate assistant coach before being moved in to a full-time position as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. In addition to his seven years of collegiate coaching experience Eric worked as strength and conditioning coach with USA Baseball last summer.
"Eric is an integral member of the Sports Performance team and is very deserving of this promotion" said Director of Sports Performance Teena Murray. "His commitment to our mission and his efforts day in and day out developing champions at U of L are truly
commendable."
