LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville President Dr. John Shumaker announced today that Tom Jurich will remain at U of L as the school's Director of Athletics. Jurich has officially removed his name from consideration for a similar position at Indiana University.

The announcement was made in the Recruiting Lounge at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium in front of a large crowd consisting of athletic department staff members, student-athletes and members of the media.
