LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's swimming and diving proved last week they are not just talented in the pool, but can also put on quite a stage performance at the University of Louisville's first Student-Athlete Talent Show.

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted the inaugural event, which included various talents and performances from nine of Louisville's varsity teams.

Some student-athletes showcased their well-rounded talents. Ricky Bennett from co-ed cheer belted a ballad a capella, while Andrew Farrell from men's soccer played an impressive song list on the piano. Other teams chose to display more unique talents; field hockey attempted a few Ladybird routines and women's soccer put together a well choreographed dance number to "It's Raining Men." However, men's swimming and diving stole the show with their mock synchronized swimming routine in speedos. A crowd favorite, they easily captured the title.

The SAAC raised more than $800. All proceeds will be donated to The Brent Ocker Trust Fund. Ocker was the women's soccer manager who contracted an extremely rare form of botulism in the fall. A trust fund has been established to assist with medical expenses.
