2013 Camp Brochure Summer 2013 - Yum! Center Anne Kordes - Head Volleyball Coach at U of L
Coaching staff will consist of Head Coach, Anne Kordes along with her current coaching staff, former U of L players and current U of L players.
All Skills Camp I ~ June 10-12 All Skills camp will focus on developing and improving the fundamentals of volleyball. Passing, serving, setting, defense, attacking, blocking as well as team systems and competition. Camp sessions run from 9:00a-3:30p daily. Morning session from 9:00-12:00p, afternoon session from 1:00-3:30p. ONLY CASH OR CHECK ACCEPTED AT CHECK IN $25 cancellation fee per camper Camp Fee-$240 (lunch & t-shirt included) Setting/Hitting Clinic ~ June 13 Setting/Hitting camp is designed to develop the fundamental skills of setting and attacking. This one-day camp will focus on setter footwork, technique and decision-making. Hitters will focus on approach footwork, arm swing and shot selection. Camp check in begins at 8:15a on June 13th and camp sessions will run from 9:00a-12:00p and 1:00p-3:00p. ONLY CASH OR CHECK ACCEPTED AT CHECK IN $25 cancellation fee per camper Camp Fee-$100 (lunch & t-shirt included) Serving Clinic ~ June 14 Our serving camp is designed to develop the fundamentals of serving for beginners to advanced. We will teach each type of serve including standing float serve, jump float serve and top spin serve. Camp check in begins at 8:15a on June 14th and camp will run from 9:00a-12:00p. ONLY CASH OR CHECK ACCEPTED AT CHECK IN $25 cancellation fee per camper Camp Fee-$60 (t-shirt included) All Skills Camp II ~ July 8 & 9 All Skills camp will focus on developing and improving the fundamentals of volleyball. Each team will compete in skill training & scrimmages throughout the camp and a tournament on the final day of camp. This camp allows you to compete against some of the nation's top high schools. Camp is open to every high school team and player. Registration will begin at 9:30am on July 10th at Threkheld Hall. The first session will begin at 1:00p on July 10th. The last day (July 12th) of camp will end at 4:00p. CAMPER FEE Overnight-$295 (housing, meals & t-shirt included) Commuter-$245 (lunch, dinner & t-shirt included)
