At UofL: As a Junior Farrell started in all 23 games for the Cardinals. Played in the midfield before moving to the back line the final nine games of the season. Dished out the game-winning assist against Indiana. Scored his first goal of the season against Rutgers. Was named to the Top Drawer Soccer's Top 100 Upperclassmen list. Finished the year ranked third on the team in assists, registered 10 shots on the year, including two on goal. Ranked sixth on the team in scoring with seven points on the year.
As a Freshman: Saw action in 20 games for the Cardinals, starting five games. Earned the starting nod in the season opener but missed four games after coming down with mono. Took a career-high two shots against St. John's and Providence. Scored the game winning goal against Rutgers, for his first collegiate goal. Finished the year with 10 shots, including seven on goal, started all five games in the NCAA tournament, one of just two freshmen to break into the starting lineup.
